Getting Started with HogWired
Set up your account and create your first job in under 5 minutes.
1. Sign up for your free trial
Click "Start Free Trial" and enter your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters. You get 14 days of the Pro plan with no credit card.
2. Follow the setup wizard
Your first sign-in opens a short setup wizard. It walks you through your company details, your first crew, your first client with their per-foot rates, your first job, and inviting your team. Skip any step, or choose "Set up later" to go straight to the dashboard.
3. Add more clients
Open Clients and choose "Add Client". Enter the contact details and your trench, bore and pull rates for that client. New jobs for the client start with those rates, and a job with footage but no rate is flagged before you invoice it.
4. Create and schedule jobs
Open Jobs and choose "New Job". Pick the client, enter the site address, job type and crew, and set a date and time. On the Schedule, "Auto-Schedule" can place unscheduled jobs around what each crew already has booked.
5. Invite your crew
Open Users and choose "Invite User". Each person gets an email to set their own password. Choose their role (admin, team leader or crew) and, for crew, which crew they belong to.
6. Crew use the app on their phones
Crew members sign in at app.hogwired.pro in their phone's browser. They see today's jobs, navigate to each site, clock in and out (even without signal, it syncs later), complete the safety checklist, take photos, and mark jobs complete.
